Tis the season of chapped lips

How to make a lovely lip balm which will save your kissers from the cold!

  1. Take two spoonfuls of coconut oil and 1/4 of a teaspoon of beeswax. Place them in a microwave safe bowl and gently heat for 10 seconds. If you want a tint put a tiny drop of red food colouring in and swirl it in. Use only a tiny bit.
  2. Add a drop of strawberry flavouring and once again mix well.
  3. Divide the mix into pots, screw the lids on tightly and leave in the fridge overnight. Then, in the morning your lip balm is ready to use!
  4. WARNING! If your lip balm starts smelling strange and/or gains a strange consistency, don’t trust it and throw away that pot. Better to make a new batch than get a nasty bug.
